Michelle Kunz established Financial Care Management in 2012, to help seniors and their families meet the challenges that keeping up with basic financial and organizational tasks can pose. A finance professional for 35 years, Michelle has a deep commitment to helping seniors maintain independent and satisfying lives.
Michelle is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), meaning she has extensive training in the multi-faceted issues and processes that are part of the aging process. Certification requires individuals to pass a rigorous exam, uphold the highest ethical standards, and to complete continuing education requirements. She currently works as a subject matter expert for the creation and rewriting of questions on the CSA credential exam.
Michelle holds an MBA from Baruch College at The City University of New York. She is a member of the American Association of Daily Money Managers and the American Institute of Bookkeepers, and is a Notary Public. She has worked in for-profit, non-profit and educational organizations, including as the Director of Medicaid Case Management for an eldercare financial planning firm.
As a volunteer, Michelle has run many fundraising campaigns for non-profits, spent three years as Treasurer of her church, and served as a Long Term Care Ombudsman for the State of Florida. She prides herself in her ethical business practices and her compassion for those in need.
