Financial Care Management is owned and operated by Michelle Kunz. Michelle has a passion to help individuals, especially seniors and those facing difficult medical situations, with the challenges they face managing their financial and organizational daily activities. Michelle founded Financial Care Management in 2012. She received the Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) designation in 2012 from the Society of Certified Senior Advisors and is a subject matter expert for creation and rewriting written items for the CSA credential examination. Michelle is a member of the American Association of Daily Money Managers, the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers and is a Notary Public.
Michelle worked as a finance professional in for-profit, education and non-profit organizations for 35 years before she founded Financial Care Management. Prior to moving to Florida in 2011, Michelle was the Director of Medicaid Case Management at an eldercare financial planning firm in New Jersey. She has a B.S. in Financial Writing from Polytechnic Institute of New York University and an MBA in Management from Baruch College of The City University of New York.
As a volunteer, Michelle was Treasurer of her church for three years, ran many fund-raising campaigns for non-profits, and is a Long Term Care Ombudsman for the State of Florida. Michelle prides herself in her ethical business practices and her compassion for those in need.
